1. Visit the Neon Museum
If you want to take a walk through Las Vegas’s bright history, The Neon Museum is just that. With dozens of original vintage signs on display across, you have six acres of history that will take you back in time. The Neon Museum’s is well worth the price of paying admission and having to stay in a guided tour just from its visitor center. As soon as you visit the visitors section you’ll see it is a restored lobby of the iconic La Concha Motel.
2. The Liberace Museum
This is geared toward our older visitors, but anyone who loves history can enjoy the beautifully restored Liberace Mansion. Wladziu Valentino Liberace (1919-1987) created his Las Vegas home, in the mid-70s but after his death the once beautiful mansion faced serious deterioration and foreclosure. Before its demise, the home was picked up off the Market by now current owner Martyn Ravenhill; He was able to do an exceedingly exceptional and extensive renovation and restoration. The home has been revived back to its former glitz, glam, and glory as well as receiving Clark County’s first Historical Designation by the Clark County commissioners. 3. High Roller Ferris Wheel
Did you know? The Las Vegas Ferris wheel is the tallest observation wheel in the world! You read that right, Las Vegas is home to the world’s largest Ferris wheel. Just to enjoy a view of the entire strip or even a romantic evening, this high roller is a must-try before you leave!
4. Seven Magic Mountains
Rocks in the desert, groundbreaking. Seriously though artist, Ugo Rondinone created a vibrant desert exhibit right outside the Las Vegas Strip that is perfectly showcased for an Instagram worthy backdrop.
5. Pictures with the Iconic Sign
With a Vegas visit, you can’t miss out on the opportunity to get your picture taken with the iconic Welcome Las Vegas sign! Since 1959, tourists have been waiting in line to get their picture taken with this historic landmark. Seemingly cliché, getting a picture with the famous sign is the stamp of approval that you had the full Vegas experience.
